A HEART AS COLD AS ICE - (FICTION) - 2/14/26
A disillusioned graphic designer becomes infatuated with a federal agent he sees at a protest and convinces himself that a grand romantic gesture will bridge the ideological divide between them. Instead, his naïve pursuit drags him into a brutal interrogation that forces him to confront not only the machinery of power, but his own loneliness, stagnation, and desperate hunger for meaning. What begins as misguided romance becomes a collision between protest culture, authority, masculinity, and the fear of fading into irrelevance.
